Our web cluster

Our Intel-based high-performance architecture consists of hardware components assembled by ourselves and a special container virtualisation, which enables us to scale our web clusters vertically without interruption - something that is not possible with most other hosters. Our hardware is always redundant, so that a hardware defect can be compensated for very quickly.

The smallest product in our portfolio is the Web Cluster. The Web Cluster consists of an active and a passive server that takes over operation in a few seconds in the event of a malfunction and uses the database entries synchronised in real time from the failed server. In this way, we ensure that our customers' online shop always remains available and the database remains consistent at all times.

For customers with a larger need for hardware resources or individual requirements, we offer the Cloud Web Cluster.

The data centre

Our TÜV-certified Tier III+data centreis located in Frankfurt am Main to benefit from the proximity to DE-CIX, the largest internet node in the world. Our data centre has ISO 27001, PCI DSS and ISAE 3402 certification. Due to the high standard of the data centre and the optimal infrastructure, the data on our servers is secured multiple times. Due to the high security standard as well as our managed hosting services with 24/7 monitoring and web checks in the corresponding service levels, we guarantee an availability of 99.99% on an annual average.

Protection for your data

DDoS protection

To protect our network from Layer 3 and Layer 4 attacks, we use the service from Voxility. This automatically protects our customers' network from DDoS attacks at the network level. At no extra cost, this network-level anti-DDoS protection is part of our managed hosting package. Data protection

Our data centres and our company headquarters are located in Germany. We comply with the strict requirements of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and thus implement the protection of personal data in hosting. Of course, we conclude an order processing agreement with our customers.

Firewall

Our customers receive an optimally pre-configured firewall. The released ports can be viewed in our Managed Centre. In addition, desired firewall rules can be implemented individually.

Backups

We automatically back up our customers' data every day during the night. The backed-up files and databases are available to each customer for 14 days. The customer can restore required data, for example individual files, directories and databases, from the backups to the restore directory independently (restore function). The backups are stored on our external backup servers and are not charged additionally.

Server access from the Managed Center

To make it as easy as possible for you to access your clusters, you can make many settings directly from the Managed Centre.

Protection

In the "Protection" area, our customers can block clients and desired IP addresses (iptables), limit TCP requests to the server, create an allowlist and analyse the accesses.

Name server

Our customers can independently deposit and manage any DNS zones for their domains without additional costs. It is irrelevant where a domain is registered. It is even possible to set the time-to-live (TTL) to up to 5 minutes, for example, to reduce downtimes in the event of a possible move.
