The maxcluster Managed Center is an administration interface for server services and security settings. In addition, an integrated monitoring center is available here. Numerous best practices of our e-commerce stack are integrated to ensure consistently high quality even with flexible and individual configurations.
- Daily backups
Daily automatic backups of customer data are performed during the night. The backed-up files and databases are available to each customer for 14 days. The customer can restore required data from the backups to the restore directory independently (restore function). The backups are stored on our external backup servers and are not charged additionally.
We check daily whether the backups have been carried out successfully. If we detect an error, we manually restore the backup and check the backup again. - Operating system updates
Monthly update day: Every first Tuesday of the month, scheduled updates for the operating system and the software used are installed. An overview of the scheduled software updates can be viewed for each cluster in the Managed Center.
- Security updates
With regular new features, enhancements and security updates, our web clusters run at peak performance and maximum stability at all times. An overview of scheduled software updates can be viewed for each cluster in the Managed Center.
- Service and resource monitoring
The status of the hardware used and the server services are checked at very short intervals and important performance data is recorded. This data can be called up and analysed at any time in the Monitoring Center. Our Linux administrators also keep an eye on all important threshold values and intervene as soon as a server service stops running or the hardware is no longer sufficient for the needs of your online shop.
After a resource expansion carried out by us, you will automatically receive an e-mail informing you of the reason for the increased demand. Based on this information, we can work together to determine the shop‘s long-term needs and achieve optimal operational efficiency. - Manual malware scans and shop scans
